Program Description
The Bachelor of Construction Management (Honours) at Western Sydney University prepares students for leadership roles in the building industry. The program combines theoretical knowledge with practical experience, covering areas such as construction technology, economics, law, and resource management. Students are required to complete 1,200 hours of approved practical experience and can specialize in quantity surveying, building surveying, or building through elective subjects. The degree is accredited by the Australian Institute of Building (AIB), Chartered Institute of Builders (CIOB), and, for the Quantity Surveying specialization, the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (AIQS) and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
