Bachelor of Arts in Sociology
Program Description
The Bachelor of Arts in Sociology at Western Sydney University explores how societies are structured, how they change, and how individuals interact within them. Students study real-world issues like inequality, gender, health, migration, family, religion, and social identity while building skills in critical thinking and social research. Through internships, community placements, and collaborative projects, graduates gain practical experience and are prepared for meaningful careers in research, policy development, education, community services, media, or nonprofit and government organisations.
