Program Description
The Bachelor of Arts in Childhood Studies at Western Sydney University explores childhood as a cultural and social concept, focusing on children’s rights, development, and well-being within diverse communities. Students gain practical experience through field placements and internships, preparing them for roles in education, child advocacy, social policy, or community program development. Graduates often pursue careers in teaching, early childhood services, child welfare organisations, or continue with postgraduate studies in education, social work, or policy.
