Program Description
The Bachelor of Arts in Peace and Development Studies at Western Sydney University explores the causes of conflict, power inequalities, and social injustice while teaching strategies for sustainable peace, human rights, and development. Students gain practical skills through fieldwork, internships, and placements in NGOs, government, and humanitarian organisations. Graduates pursue careers in development agencies, peacebuilding, public policy, research, and international relations or continue with postgraduate studies in peace and conflict studies.
