Program Description
The Bachelor of Arts in Musicology at Western Sydney University explores music’s history, cultural meanings, and philosophical dimensions rather than performance, teaching students how music shapes and reflects society’s evolution. Through research, analysis, and internship opportunities in cultural institutions, media, and arts organisations, graduates gain the skills to work in music journalism, consultancy, heritage, academia, or policy.
