Program Description
A Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Portuguese is a joint honors degree focusing on the achievement of fluency in both Portuguese and Spanish. The degree is not just about studying the two languages but rather an in-depth examination of the different cultures, histories, and literatures of the Portuguese and Spanish-speaking worlds. It sets graduates up for an excellent range of international careers in international relations, business, translation, and teaching, among others, where being able to speak both languages fluently is a significant advantage.
