Program Description
The Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Theatre Practice is a professional, practice-based degree for advanced theatre artists. Unlike an MA, which is often more academic, the MFA focuses on intensive studio work, performance, and production. It is designed to develop highly specialized skills in a specific discipline, such as directing, acting, design, or playwriting. The curriculum is project-oriented and aims to refine a student's craft through professional mentorship, culminating in a major thesis production or portfolio. Graduates are prepared for professional careers in theatre and related industries.
