Program Description
BSc (Hons) Nutrition and Dietetics at University of Chester is a Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)-approved program that trains future dietitians to apply evidence-based nutritional science in clinical, public health, and private practice settings. Students gain hands-on experience through NHS placements, clinical simulations, and community nutrition projects while mastering medical nutrition therapy, dietary assessment, and health behavior change strategies. Graduates qualify as registered dietitians, eligible for roles in hospitals, sports nutrition, food policy, or private consultancy with strong foundations for British Dietetic Association (BDA) specialist accreditation.
