Program Description
A Bachelor of Science in International Disaster Management and Humanitarian Response and Chinese is a joint honors degree that combines a deep understanding of humanitarian crises with advanced proficiency in Mandarin Chinese. The program prepares students to work effectively in Chinese-speaking regions by providing them with both the technical skills for disaster management and the linguistic and cultural competence needed to lead relief efforts. Graduates are well-prepared for roles with NGOs, international organizations, and government agencies in East Asia and beyond.
