Program Description
The Bachelor of Education (Teaching) at the University of Auckland is a three-year programme that combines core education study with more than 24 weeks of practical school placements. Students gain strong foundations in child development, curriculum design, and culturally responsive teaching while building real-world classroom experience. Graduates become eligible for provisional teacher certification and can pursue careers as primary or intermediate teachers, Māori-medium educators, or roles in education support, curriculum development, and policy.
