Program Description
The MRes in Applied Sciences at UWE Bristol delivers advanced research training through structured modules—Research Training & Professional Development, Research Theory & Practice, and a hands-on Extended Research Project—supported by experienced supervisors and cutting-edge £3.2 million science labs. With flexible full-time or part-time study options, students engage in real-world collaborations with bodies like Bristol Zoo, the Eden Project, and the Woodland Trust, tailoring projects to sectors such as biosciences, bio-sensing, environmental science, and forensic studies. Graduates emerge with robust skills in research design, data collection, and analysis, equipped for R&D and data-driven roles or ready to continue toward a PhD.
