Program Description
BA (Hons) History and Journalism at the University of Hertfordshire – Master the art of storytelling across time with our dual-accredited (NCTJ, HiPACT) programme, blending investigative journalism with historical analysis. Develop archival research, multimedia production, and investigative reporting skills through projects with the BBC History Unit and local newspapers, using our TV/radio studios and digital newsroom. Our placements at museums, broadcasters, or publishers prepare you for careers as documentary producers, historical journalists, or media researchers – with 90% employed in media/history sectors (HESA 2023).
