Program Description
The Bachelor of Dance Studies at the University of Auckland is a three-year programme that combines practical dance training with theoretical study in performance, choreography, and dance research. Students gain hands-on experience through performances, workshops, and industry placements, developing skills in creative expression, movement analysis, and teaching. Graduates pursue careers as professional dancers, choreographers, dance educators, or arts administrators both in New Zealand and internationally.
