Program Description
The M.Tech. in Geotechnical and Earthquake Engineering is a specialized, two-year Civil Engineering program. It focuses on the performance of soil and rock under various loads and conditions, and equips students to design and analyze foundations and structures to withstand earthquakes, landslides, and other natural hazards. Graduates work as Geotechnical Engineers, Project Scientists, or Civil Engineers for construction, consulting firms, or government bodies like the PWD and Railways.
