Master of Science in Midwifery
Program Description
The MSc in Midwifery is a post-qualified course for professional midwives. It aims to enhance the skills of practicing midwives with regard to enhancing clinical competency, leadership, and research skills. Evidence-based practice, advanced assessment, management of complex care, innovation in midwifery, and preparation for impactful careers in specialist clinical practice, midwifery leadership, education, research, and policy-making across healthcare systems through which graduates are equipped for future roles. There are some programs that emphasize research projects and advanced practice placements, which are valuable experiences in enhancing maternal and newborn health outcomes.
