Program Description
The Bachelor of Veterinary Technology at the University of Adelaide develops strong practical skills in animal care, diagnostics, anaesthesia, surgery support, and clinical nursing across small and large animal settings. Students gain extensive hands-on experience through laboratory training, animal handling, and internships in veterinary clinics, hospitals, and industry partners. Graduates are prepared for careers as veterinary technologists, animal health technicians, laboratory assistants, and roles in wildlife care, biosecurity, research, and animal welfare organisations.
