Scholarships, Financial Aid, and Tuition Fees
The University of Memphis provides a variety of scholarships to international students to ease financial burdens. The International Merit Scholarship offers up to $12,500 annually to outstanding undergraduate students, helping reduce tuition costs significantly. Graduate students with strong academic records can apply for the Graduate Merit Scholarship, which provides tuition reductions or stipends to support their academic journey. Entry Requirements
To be admitted to UoM's undergraduate programs, international students need to have a minimum GPA of 2.5 or its equivalent. Additionally, students must provide proof of English proficiency with a TOEFL iBT score of 61, an IELTS score of 6.0, or an equivalent test score and although SAT/ACT scores are optional, it can prove to be quite beneficial if you do decide to take them. Furthermore, a GPA of 2.75 or higher is required for graduate programs. Along with that, a TOEFL iBT score of 79 or IELTS score of 6.5 is also another requirement the students need to complete as well as some graduate programs presenting the need for GRE or GMAT scores but that totally depends on the specific field of study.
