2. Checking Entry Requirements

6. Student Visa Application

You will be granted a student visa of subclass 500 to study in Australia. The visa application includes the following:

• GSR / Genuine Temporary Entrant Requirement: The GTE has been updated to GSR. So In this case you need to attend an interview which will be conducted by the university. The financial requirement is also a must when you apply to the university. You need to show proper financial support from your parents so that you can apply to the university. Attach a motivational letter which states the intentions to live temporarily in Australia.

• Financial Requirements: Proof that the student can support themselves with tuition, living expenses, and travel costs. The updated living cost is 29,710 AUD and AUD 2200 is traveling expenses. 

• Confirmation of Enrolment: This will be provided by your university after you accept your offer, meeting/making the entire financial requirement, you can pay the required deposit of your tuition fee.

• OSHC—Overseas Student Health Cover: You will be covered by purchasing health insurance during your stay in Australia. It can be for 3-4 years, during a bachelor's degree. You have to pay for your health cover.

• Visa Application: You will apply for the visa online through the Department of Home Affairs website. Then you will be able to lodge all your documents. You have to pay the updated visa amount of AUD1625 .

7. Arrange Accommodation and Travel

As soon as you get your visa, organize your accommodation in Australia. This can be through on-campus housing, private rentals, or home stays. Book flights and get ready to move to Australia.

8. Join the Orientation Program

Join the university's orientation program wherein you get familiar with the campus and its facilities, make new friends, and get to know people in your courses, and with support services available at the university.
