Program Description
The Master of Arts (MA) in Conflict Transformation and Social Justice is an interdisciplinary program designed to equip individuals with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills to address and resolve conflicts peacefully and promote social equity. It examines the root causes of conflict, explores various approaches to peacebuilding, reconciliation, and human rights, and emphasizes the development of critical thinking and mediation abilities. Graduates are prepared for impactful career outcomes in NGOs, international organizations, government agencies, community development, human rights advocacy, and peacebuilding initiatives worldwide. Many programs integrate case studies, fieldwork opportunities, and practical conflict resolution exercises, providing crucial hands-on experience in fostering positive social change.
